Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup granulated sugar or honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar
  • 3 ripe bananas or mashed, about 1 ½ cups
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour or substitute with whole wheat or gluten-free flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth, leaving a few small lumps for texture.
  • Add the eggs to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.
  • Gradually sift in the flour and gently stir until just incorporated. Avoid overmixing.
  • Stir in the sugar or your chosen sweetener and mix until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few crumbs.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • For added flavor, mix in ½ cup of chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, or a teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Store the banana bread in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 days or freeze individual slices for up to 3 months.
  • If using liquid sweeteners like honey, slightly reduce the bananas or bake a bit longer for the perfect consistency.
